Another option is to buy a futon mattress from an
asian store (Not an american futon mattress).  They
run about 60.00 for a full size mattress and fold up
flat.   you can throw a padding under that if it's not
thick enough or get two mattresses which makes it
about as thick as a standard american mattress.
