[Ansteorra] for the armorers

Kushitani Leathers has had something like this for quite some time. Unfortunately articulated armor can not function correctly with modern sport pads under it.

Check out this new material technology. when it becomes more available, if
integrated into ones combat armour it can have *major* implications for making
scadian sport combat far safer than it has been to date.

from the reading I have done so far, it would be the perfect
"padding" under the steel (properly protected from abrasion) ..
especially for joints, hands and *head* (check the video of the guy getting
whacked on the head and knees with a shovel wearing a soft ski hat and with knee
& thigh padding built into the ski pants ...)

soon as I can afford it, will be upgrading my motorcycling, cycling and street
skate gear (products already available) .. and I definitely want my next set of
ballistic armour to have a layer of this stuff behind the ballistic fabric
(wonder how it would work behind the new "dragon skin" stuff???).

Greetings!
?
Ok, what was apparently meant to be a private msg got send to the list, and
while I apologize for the bandwith, there seems to be a few that want to order
together. That being said, if you would like to order together for the paint
them yourself masks only, please contact me privately with the mask you want and
the quantity. Since they ship in 2 days if we pay the shipping I will allow only
6 days from today for people to contact me. I will order them next Saturday..
That way we can get them in time to paint them prior to 12th night and dont have
to worry about coordinating delivery during the week of Christmas.
?
Thanks again,
?

It was being discussed on the Armour Archive about 2 weeks ago. Still
haven't heard back from some who were going to buy some and test it.
