This is true, and since your card company can charge you over limit fees on holds, as well as declaring you to be in default of any introductory apr packages and raise your rate, It's always best to be careful.Gorm

That can happen with any credit card at the pumop, and there is usually a notice
saying that. :) So that's a possibility with ALL credit and debit cards, no
matter what flavor.
