While I never attended Texas Lutheran, I visited there with my niece and nephew when they were college shopping. It seems like a good school and the admissions people were very helpful and honest. Not sure if they still do have the day of exams to held determine your financial aid package. 
 
I would also recommend Alpha Phi Omega as I was a member in Indiana and my niece is a member at Southwestern University.

YES!!!!! I went to that college!!!!! Loved every min. of it. Back in the dark
