Q1: No.
Q2: Yes.
Definitions:
Combatants = anyone in armor with a weapon.
Armored Combatant = non-archer combatant
Archers = combatant with a bow or crossbow.
Sorry for the lack of clarity. I promise it made sense at the time I wrote
it :)
