>From experience I can tell you a story of Gulf war III. First war for a a young newbie, then 21. I hit site and had no one to camp with. I set up my loan little tent Next to a group of people that I didn't know. Sometime later a small group approached and asked if I was using or reserving the space right next to and behind me and I said no, I was alone.

I am not sure what was the impetus anymore but at some point I was pretty much assimilated into the camp of William of Weir and Francois (with his 12 dozen cookies ;-) ) and honestly i am not sure who else. Them and the very hospitable and friendly Barony of Grey Niche who was the group I was camped next to. They got to watch me spending probably 2-3 days trying to finish my armor to fight as i had made a promise to Galen of Bristol to fight with him. He had to field a force as a requirement of pursuing Alessandra and asking her hand in marraige.

I will say that i actually brought food for the week. I think I only ate some of it when I insisted to these two groups of gentles that I brought it so i should actually _eat_ some of it as i had gone to the trouble of bringing it all the way there. Would have been sad to have to actually throw out food. Otherwise I really could have gone all week without having brought any food. ;-)

I will say if you try it remember to at least bring something to drink. :-D but i can say with a fair amout of certainty that if you are a young single man then yes you could probably make it through the week without having brought any food.

To this day I will say I have some nice memories and warm feelings for Sir William of Weir and his household as well as for the good people of the Barony of Grey Niche. Neither of which probably remember me from Adam OR probably remember a young man camped alone at Gulf War III.
