[Ansteorra] Please share your favorite memory of getting Largess

it was a late night at Pennsic,? two years ago.? I spend the war camped with the Kingdom of Ealdomere, reveling with them and supporting their Kingdom as well as my own (they referred to me as the "import"). 

Thursday night was a bardic fire, and though I do not consider myself a bard, and certianly not a singer, I was requested to sing a well loved and little known "Waterbearers Song".?I explained that I was from Ansteorra,?but was staying with Ealdomere for the week,?as I had friends there and cherish the time I can spend with them. ?After singing, and much laughing, I was approached by a gentleman, and from his wrist, he took a copper bracelet.? 
"I am from Ealdomere, but find myself away from home often," (Mundanly, he is in the Canadian Military) he said.? "I made myself this bracelet, and in it, if you listen closely, you can hear the sands of the Hudson Bay.? I wear this always, for it keeps Ealdomere with me always. I want you to have it" he said, " so that you will always have a piece of Ealdomere with you."

I still wear it every event.? Though I dont know if I will ever be able to part with it, I love the idea that it holds. And whomever that gentle lord was who gave it to me will always hold a small piece of me as well.
