The message had an attachment which probably got stripped out by the 
filters. Seems that AOL will not just forward stuff over with out making it 
an attachment. The message contained is as follows:

It's with  heavy heart that I bring you yet again sad tidings.
Master Hakon's mother was admitted to the local hospital Saturday night and
it being removed from Life support today to allow her to gently slip away.
Please think kind thoughts toward us this week.

I wish them and their family all my deepest sympathies. Master Hakon and 
Mistress Anna were two of the first friends I made in the SCA, and still 
continue to be dear friends.
