[Ansteorra] Events in the Last Five years

I think may be everyone has me wrong. I am not talking about playing persona as being in France or England I am talking about being a medieval person in Ansteorra. Aren't you a Lord or Lady? Do Lords and Ladies exist in the Modern American world. When you believe in Ansteorra and play like you are really living in a Medieval Kingdom aren't you playing persona. 
I have given up on theme events. I just want people aren't at a mall in Texas.
