  Greetings Ansteorra,
  Those of us who are attending event from the Danelagen are proud to be accompanying King Guthrum to this celebration.  We have been traveling for a while and thank the gods for the beautiful warm weather that has honored our travels.  We hope that many of you, our peace-loving kinsmen will meet us at the event.  King Guthrum is a peace loving man and has long sought a mutually agreeable alliance with the most noble King Alfred of the Saxons.
