[Ansteorra] World History In High School

I live in Angleton, TX.  Our school played the Star Spangled Banner,Texas, Our Texas, and the alma mater before every football game.  At least they did, until UIL said that our pre-game period was too long and made us quit playing the state song (late 90s)..  My daughter, who was in high school then, was most incensed that we could not play the state song.  She thought it was important even if the UIL did not.

Ah Robin...You quoted the state song of Texas. You wouldn't believe the
number of kids that think our state song is The Eyes of Texas. That is
the school song for UT (or TU depending upon your school allegiances. I
happen to be a graduate of Abilene Christian University...you know those
people that think we're Satanists.>8^>)
