I've personally never been denied access to an airplane ( unfortunately )and I've never been turned down on a background check ( chemical plants are bad about them )and I've been through 5 or 6 over the past several years.the SCA is listed as a "subversive organization," for no other reason than that our organization
structure is modeled on a mundane political structure (we've set up kingdoms and
> principalities in the United States)."(snip) I had never heard the subversive org. part but I had been told that we were listed somewhereas a minimal threat paramilitary group of some sort. It's nice to know we're drawing attention though. But for the sake of putting everyone's minds at ease, I have to work in areas deemed especiallysensitive to terrorist activity ( ports, pipelines, refineries etc. )and if they still let me in, I'm guessing we're good. So breath a sigh of relief and go forth in the knowledge that if the FBI's watching your house, it probably IS because of those forged$20.00 plates and the printing press in your garage, not the SCA.Always the optimist and in service I remain, Elrique
