For Hotels Near BAM (Bordermarch Autumn Melees), you might want to consider  
Jasper as well. There are at least two in the Jasper area and this is within 
25  miles of the site. Jasper is a nicer town with more shopping. Also, there 
is at  least one hotel on 255 near Sam Rayburn as well. That small motel is new 
and  only about 15 or so miles from site, that is a guess. 
 
Jasper is also where you can get some degree of Medical care and there is a  
small hospital there. 
 
If your coming from Houston on I-10, just travel up Hwy 96 straight into  
Jasper, then turn left on Hwy 190 and travel west. The best route to site from  
Jasper is to turn right on Hwy 63 just past Walmart and Lowe's and drive  
approximately 11 miles to Hwy 255, then turn left and travel another 12 miles to  
the site on the right.
