Well, it's the same OLD website with NEW, updated information for this
year's Mid Summer Knight's Dream (now on a NEW date of August 22-24). This
year's theme is Mythical Mayhem (is a myth as good as a mile?).

For Heavy Weapons fighters, we have Mythic Battles, Sheep Ball, plus the
latest Gleann Abhann Grand Tourney Qualifiers.

Rapier Fighters we have the Fountain of Youth Tourney, the Smythkepe
Defender Tourney (Golden Apple Double Elimination style) and a Mythical
Monsters Tourney.

Arts & Science will be static A&S: Best representation of a myth or legend
in any medium (must provide the myth [though it's going to be hard trying to
catch a unicorn] ).

For gamers, Lord Seamas & THLady Moira are offering a gaming tourney of 3
diferent games. Participants may choose to play 1, 2 or all 3 games with
prizes for the individual games and overall games winner.

Yes, we will have classes. Final details are still being arranged, but we
know of two for certain:

-Autocratting 101: the basics of preparing and autocratting an event.

-SCA Titles and Protocol (or "Peer Spotting for Dummies")

And take a break from the sweltering late Summer heat with a quick dip in
the swimming pool.

Children's Activities include:

Mythical Creatures/ Necklace making

Great Heroes who fought mythical creatures/Shield making

MedievalGames and Toys

Beastie Bingo

Children will also make own lunch over the fire pit:

Hydra Hotdogs, Cyclops chips, Loki Lemonade, Selkie Smores and Pegasus Pies

There will also be swimming in the swimming pool (weather permitting), so
bring your swimsuits!

Saturday morning will also be the wedding of Le Seigneur Regné de Lyon and
Lady Quataryna la Petita .

All this at our NEW site (well, actually it's our OLD, original site): Shoal
Creek Youth Camp near NEW Blaine, AR.
