As a former member of the 16th Engineer Battalion, the Catamounts, I
can suggest that this:

Is probably what you're after.  Blazoned a little differently, but
your description ends up with the same image.  He's leashed, but
that's easy enough to get rid of.

I don't know how to play with the graphics enough to separate them, but. . .
