I agree. This is another indication of someone running around
and regulating the SCA because "Something might happen."
It is just like so many of the armor requirments that have
been enforced with no data to back it up other than the SEM
imagining a worst case scenario. 

We should all be adults here. If you want to fight with less
armor then you have signed a waiver indicating you know
the risks. If you want to be more protected, you wear it.
There should definately be minimum guidelines but they
keep increasing the minimums with no hard data.

If I don't want to drink from a tube because I fear disease
I'll a) bring my own tube, b) bring my own water, c) pour
the water from the jug or d) something else. 

But this is again people in corporate deciding to tell us what
is good for us even though there are no hard facts for the
decision.
