[Ansteorra] Flags for Flag waving

I used to help my granny make color guard stuff.. the flag material can get heavy but dries quickly.  Just remember when connecting two colors to use an "S" seam like in a pavilion seam.  White is usually used for practice and the colored flags for the real deal.  They are not hard to make just remember to add extra for the "S" seam.  I make two sides and if very intricate design and put the fronts together and sew around remembering to leave an opening to turn them around and whip stitch the small opening closed.  For a pole or stick  opening measure the diameter of  the object used and  divide by 2 and add 1/2", I know some with the larger flags add a hook or carabeaner to hold the flag at the top.  Hope this help anyone that wish to make them.

Does anyone have any experience in making flags for a color guard in a band.
It has been suggested that flag waving and "flag throwing" is period
and would really add to the Anniversay Coronation and Gulf Wars. 
My health won't allow me to sew. My back is too bad.but if I could get the
money could someone out there put up the job of constructing the flags. We will
need both Pracitice Flags and show flags.
I don't think buying will work because they weem to go for about 38 dollars
a flag.
