Greetings,
 
On our journey home from GW, I had some trouble.  2 blowouts about 15  miles 
apart.
 
The response I had from my SCA family was fantastic.  Between Countess  
Maggie and Bronwen getting me a phone number for someone close, and  Thorgard 
seeing us and turning around ... WOW!!  
 
We ended up with Baden coming back to get my trailer and taking it to Dona  
Leigh's.  Henri and crew stopped and lent me his trailer spare so I could  get 
my kids and crew to Leigh's where we spent the night.  Got up the next  morn, 
drove into Beaumont for tires (ended up getting 3 - this AFTER I took it  in 
to have them checked BEFORE GW) while Leigh made a hot breakfast fo rmy kids  
and crew ....
 
Whew ... 
 
The people traveling with us, can't quite call them newbies after 9 months  
of eventing, now know what we mean by "SCA Family" and no doubt about it.
 
>From my nuclear family to all of my chosen family, of the which many helped  
us with this roadside emergency ...
