Ahhh! But the Far West had the problem of not seeing Crowns travel out
there. Communication was also a pain... In this day and age, we not only
have Email, but there are no oceans to travel across... I daresay the BoD
would never approve this idea as a solution in Ansteorra. As someone has
already noted, Barons & Baronesses exist to hold lands for the Crown, and in
my opinion, they're doing just fine.
