I beg of the Bards of Ansteorra to produce a great song in her name. She taught many a lot about what it means to be a peer, what the SCA dream is, and how to share that dream. 

She will be missed, even from the far reaches of Washington state. Her gifts to me will not be forgotten.

I was shocked to hear of the passing of Mistress Janet.  She was a remarkable lady who left an indelible impression upon me.  Often beset by life's troubles, she was ever with a smile on her face.  Folks with Janet's will and strength of character are few and far between.  She is an example that will be missed by many.
