WOW...I hadn't counted on such a phenomenal response.  Thank you for your support on this.

I guess I should have mentioned it, but as my lady wife has stated we are in fact from Ft Hood and we will be looking at conducting this get together sometime in August most likely (more to follow when I have more input from the platoon).  Any who would be able to provide mead to that area without causing too much disruption in their lives, I would be personally thankful to you.  We can work out the details, please contact me off list if you can and are still willing to support this.

Helena, sorry about the confusion.  You can swat me in December as long as you are properly armed and armored to minimum standards and prepared to defend yourself.  At this point you are definitely at least on par with me in fighting skills (and probably somewhat better...4 years as a fighter and only about 18 months of actual learning).

Ioannes, please refrain from using the "R" word in conjunction with my name lest someone from the Army think that to be a good idea.  When you get back we will have to coordinate a bruises and barbecue to welcome you home properly since you will not be back in time to join the fun with my batch of goons.

Again, to all who have responded on this, a heartfelt thank you from the members of my platoon and the military everywhere.  It is because of people like you that we are willing to go into harm's way.
