[Ansteorra] solution helm ringing

I've found the gluing somthing in ,and the rivet/just vemting the upper most "bell" shape of the top helps and the vents help with the heat release depending on how the helm is padded. I actually went to u-haul and got te particle styple wool moving padding and glued it to the inside of the helm then used STRONG velcroe to hold the paddinig in place.It kinda looks like  osb but made of wool. easy to clean too even glued in the rpoperties of the wool help to resist mold and stench if the helms are stood out in the open air to dry and not packed for a week still wet. I also use this for rapier helms that ring and clank worse then almost any well made armor helm i've ever worn.The wool absorbes not only the sound vibrations and sounds other then ring but helps to disperse energy as well.

Helm ring usually cames either from the body of the helm, like a bell, or 
from the grill, like a xylaphone.  Or both.  Another thing to look at if you

have a bar grill is to use a TIGHT leather strip and bind some of the bars 
together to damp the vibration.

But often helms with terrible welds don't ring, so there's the bright side.
