We are getting reports NO power in Beaumont,trees down lines down no reports we know of any injuries to any one in the Bordermarch group at this time which is good news.

My name is Lady Irina Vukoslava.

I reside in Gates Edge.  The only thing I can tell you right now is that they
are without power in the Spring area (I am riding it out at Memorial Hermann
Texas Medical Center as staff).  

The JD Powers building up on 59 heading well north has had it's windows
blown out.

Wish I could provide more information.

More information.  Unfortunately, it is bad.  Houston is totally without
electric except for the Medical Center.

Galveston is underwater. 

There is severe flooding in Brazoria, Madagorda, and all of the coastal
counties.  Clear Lake is also flooding.

It will be tough for the city to assess damages until the sun comes updue to
power outages.  I will try to keep the list appraised as the day goes by, unless
the hospital loses power.

In Shadowlands the weather is going the wrong way. More wind and rain, but it
is light so you can see what hit you if you arelooking the right direction.
Coulter field has winds in the mid 20's with gust to 46 and reporting heavy
rain. So far all I have is small branches down mostly leaves and such. With what
I would call light to modreat rain. Have lost the dish though so it is raining
hard some where south of me.

I've been running on generator since between 4-5 am.  Know that power is
out 
in at least part of Huntsville.
Conroe is blacked out (sister called me from there).  Power is out where I 
live east of Willis.  Have a big
oak tree that was twisted down sometime this morning.  Lots of branches 
down.  Haven't heard from anyone
else in Ravens Fort yet.

My Lady Wife is in a Mariott in one of the higher points in town
(which is why it's been taken over by the National Guard and FEMA) and
there's six inches of water in the street outside the Mariott.  As of
right now, it's still unsafe for a lot of folks to be out dinking
around in the streets, especially with no lights.  But she's still got
cell phone coverage.

Liam Gordon and his troops are in a convention center in Pasadena.  I
don't know much about that other than that they are all OK, and
operating on generator power at this time.

Lights are out in Willis (since about 4 am) and the wind are still very strong
(rain is coming down sideways.

I haven't relly been outside (and have no plans yet) but just from my
mom's backyard... She has a small tree about to come done (no threat to the
house) and parts  of the fence are leaning....
