[Ansteorra] Question for gate folks

An interesting statistic this would be. However, I wonder how necessary a
statistic this would be. Is this a case of best laid plans and good
intentions or just plain curiosity. These statistics while harmless in and
of themselves could eventually be used with all honorable intent to say
these people aren't putting forth enough effort to support the SCA. I am
NOT saying that this is what WOULD happen, just unsolicitedly (ok really
needs to be a word) advising as to the potential dangers of statistics. As
long as they remain a harmless untraceable number they are safe.
