My Lady Wife is in a Mariott in one of the higher points in town
(which is why it's been taken over by the National Guard and FEMA) and
there's six inches of water in the street outside the Mariott.  As of
right now, it's still unsafe for a lot of folks to be out dinking
around in the streets, especially with no lights.  But she's still got
cell phone coverage.

Liam Gordon and his troops are in a convention center in Pasadena.  I
don't know much about that other than that they are all OK, and
operating on generator power at this time.
