A word of warning to those who go to Pennsic and might be considering renting a tent:



I rented a tent from Pitt Rentals, 10x20, for $159 paid in advance.  After it was set up, the fellow setting it up asked me to sign saying I had received it and it was set up to my satisfaction.  Not thinking, I didn't read it... they tacked on an extra $116.  



When I saw the extra charge on my credit card statement, I called and asked about it, and was told the person who did it would call me back.  I waited a week then called again.



After changing his story several times, he finally said, Look, you signed for it, that's all there is to it.  



Buyer beware.  I personally would never do business with them again, and advise all to find a more reputable tent-rental place to use.
