Good Afternoon Everyone!

Having gotten back late last night from a wonderful Estrella and then waking up to the obnoxious pile of laundry I realized that I needed to take a break and fill everyone in on a bit of information.

Yesterday morning during the tear down portion of Estrella a woman (not one of us) began to act a little "off".  When some concerned populace members approached her to assist she began to threaten them with bodily injury.  Things rapidly escalated to the point where we needed to call in Pinal County Sheriffs officers to assist.  The did arrive on site and detain this person.  It became apparent that she had a possible mental condition so the officers called in an ambulance to transport her for observation.  

Once she left site we located her vehicle which contained LARGE amounts of items that were clearly not hers.  The officers have impounded the vehicle as evidence and are currently cataloging all items within the vehicle.

The are requesting that if anyone has had any items stolen during this past Estrella that they please give a detailed description of the item along with any pictures you might have as well as photos.  Please forward this information to me and I will send along to the deputies in charge.  

The officers do have the list from the Watch of the people who reported missing items throughout the event as well as the report number of the stolen purse and the merchants who have filed reports with them.  Though we cant be certain that this individual was responsible for all of the stolen times, we can certainly hope that the missing items might be recovered.

This morning I spoke with the officer who assisted us yesterday and he is hoping to get our lists to them asap as it will help them return the items as well as giving the County Attorney information that will assist them.

I want to say a personal thank you to all of those individuals who stepped up to file reports and speak with the deputies.  Our willingness to work calmly and clearly with the local authorities will go a long way in their willingness to assist us in the future.
