Feb. 22  The Debate Over the Science Curriculum in Texas Public Schools
Ryan Valentine, Deputy Director of the Texas Freedom Network (TFN)  
covers topics that will include issues related to religious freedom  
and church-state separation at the Texas Legislature.  Ryan also  
discusses the role of the controversial Texas State Board of  
Education (SBOE) pertaining to the high-profile debate over the  
state’s science curriculum which the board will decide this spring.


Valentine informs during the discussion that this spring The Texas  
State Board Of Education will be deciding what science books from the  
book publishers will be in the public school system. Whichever  
science books TSBE decides on most surely be chosen nationwide to go  
to the other states since Texas is such a large state.
