[Ansteorra] What happens at gulf War

Willow, et all,
Opening Ceremonies at Gulf Wars is pretty much the same sort of pomp and circumstance and a bit of theater tossed in as always.

Generally a large procession, Crowns will come into the throne area in front of the Fort, sometimes on horseback, some years they are followed only by an entourage, others they are followed by entourage and the landed B&B's of their Kingdoms - depends on who's orchestrating the show.

Each Crown gives greetings to the others and some small announcements, if any, of their special activities to focus on.  The Autocrat is usually called forth to give greetings and announcements.  And then the wars are proclaimed... and it's off.

Don't think it's changed much over the years, just the personalities of the players and the bit of theater they wish to put into it.

FYI - if you haven't yet seen the master schedule online, this year the Great Court will be on Friday evening (was on Saturday on year's past).

Cheers, Hillary
