  Greetings to the populous of Northern Ansteorra:

On Saturday, January 24th, Northern Regional Fighter Practice/Melee Practice
will be held at Camp DaKaNi. The practice will be from noon to 6pm. Site
will be open starting at 10am for anyone needing to do setup.

There is a place set aside for baronial pavilions and personal day pavilions
next to the list field.

We will be conducting an armor inspection using Gulf War rules to help the
fighters be ready for Gulf War armor inspection.

We should have several authorizing marshals at NRFP this weekend that will
cover different combat styles. D'Alder will have a siege weapon on site for
anyone that wants to get siege weapon authorized.

We will have scenarios set up for both light and heavy fighting. Some of the
scenarios will have combat archery so combat archers please come and join
us!

An archery target shoot is planned for Saturday. HL Thomas Quilliam will be
setting up and running this.

Baroness Muriel will be holding a Norman Med Faire discussion. The
discussion will be round table style covering the interest of the attendees
that have to deal with the upcoming Med Faire.

I would also like to request that if you have anything to sell: armor,
rattan, fiberglass shafts, anything that would help someone else prepare for
war - please bring it with you.

After the NRFP, there will be a revel and hafla. Lord Orlando and his lady
Caterina will be providing hotdogs and hamburgers for a potluck feast. They
ask that everyone wanting to participate to bring a side dish or other meats
and drink of thier choice.

There will be overnight camping available for Saturday night. Fires in
containers and fire pits will be allowed due to the cold weather.
