Unfortunately as things currently stand, he won't be able to fight Melees 
with adults.  He can still fight pickup fights with adults, tournaments with 
adults, and any 16-17 year old only melees.

Greetings to all,

With regards to the Youth fighting with adults in melees I would like 
clarification. Will my 17 year old son ,who is authorized to fight heavy 
combat with adults and who fought last year at Gulf Wars with adults at the 
age of 16, be allowed to fight this year with the adults at Gulf Wars?
