As Hedwig alluded, we've got a great slate of marshalled activities going 
on, culminating in Crown Tourney.  Jarl Timo asked me to post the 
description of the tournaments he's sponsoring to this list:

The Squire's Open & The Chivalry's Open @ Ansteorra's 30th Year

Y'all are cordially invited to attend Ansteorra's 30th year
Celebration and Crown Tourney July 9-13, 2009 in Canton, Texas! While
you are here, you might as well fight a bit!

***The Squire's Open Championship***

All fighters throughout the Known World that have not yet attained the
rank of Knight or Master of Arms are invited to participate in this
modified double elimination speed tourney. Entrants are NOT required
to be a squire or student to a member of the Chivalry (i.e. all
non-belts are welcome). Any and all single combat chivalric weapon
styles will be allowed so bring your best!

In addition to word fame, prestige, and prizes, the champion and
runner-up of this event will be granted entry into the Chivalry's Open
Championship to follow!

***The Chivalry's Open Championship***

All Knights and Masters/Mistresses of Arms throughout the Known World
are invited to participate in this modified double elimination speed
tourney. All members of the Order are welcome including those of royal
peerage. Any and all single combat chivalric weapon styles will be
allowed so bring your best!

Come test your mettle against the best the belted circle has to offer!

The Squire's Open will start at 2 pm on Saturday, July 11 and the
Chivalry's Open will start upon completion of the first tourney.
