Brewers, Vintners, and Cordial Makers,
While you're putting the final touches on your packing, remember to slide
in an extra bottle or two for the competition hosted by the Interkingdom
Brewers Guild.
The competition will be in Collegium 4 on Thursday of Gulf War from 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m.-ish...it has drawn out a bit in the past...drop-offs and
drive-bys are welcome.
Entries consist of: a) two 12-oz bottles (or larger) for beer and mead;
b) one 16-oz (or greater) bottle for wine and mead; and/or, c) one 8-oz
bottle for cordials and liqueurs. Competitors are invited to attend as
their entries are judged. Leftover bottles will be returned to their
owners at the end of the judging. Although, occasionally the judges will
opt for re-evaluation at the end of the day...which is a shared
experience...so the bottle may be very empty.
Please bring documentation, if you have it. In many cases, it is a godsend
for the judges.
If you can't be there, see if you can find someone to take your entries.
Regards,
Tadhg
