The class was "Metal Piercework", and it was taught by Hillary Rose 
Greenslade, of Stargate.

     scissors
     rubber cement
     a nail punch set (Harbor Freight has one--41988)
     masking tape

     a baseball bat (to use as an alternative to a metal stake for 
doming)
