[Ansteorra] Sad News - Duchess Kolfinna of Caid

It is with a heavy heart that I bring this news to you all this evening.

*It is with deep regret and much sorrow that after getting permission
from Sven, I pass on that Duchess Kolfinna will loose her brave fight
with H1N1 today, October 1st, 2009. We all feel a great loss but
Kolfinna's family asks that her friends refrain from coming up to the
hospital. There will be a memorial at Great Western War and there will
be more information on that and final arrangements posted on the

I had the great fortune of meeting Kolfinna this year at Gulf Wars when she
was Queen of Caid.  We spent time together at several
equestrian competitions which she not only was watching but taking part in
as well.  She and her Husband His Grace Sven signed the treaty to bring the
Golden Lance (Ansteorra's Equestrian Award) to Caid.

Her Grace was just that, Grace.  The Knowne World is truly a darker place
this evening.
