[Ansteorra] cloved fruit

*wry smile*...Perhaps I come from a different time, Milady...but that seems
to take all the fun out of it...  

For good or ill, cloven fruits (like our cherished SCA titles) have
developed their own Anachronistic persona...  completely irrespective of
periodicity.

After all...*hopefully*, we already *have* that feelings you mentioned for
most of our fellow gentlefolk... (and besides...it would give up a wonderful
opportunity for some *great* snogging (*G*)...

To me, to be presented with cloved fruit would be accepting that persons
offer of trust/friendship/love/commitment, whatever the time and situation
dictates.  It is such a shame that it is not done and given with what I
believe to be the proper respect. 

Perhaps we can start it up again?
