Yes, that's true, and that's what I do for every other meal on-site (along with olives, hummus, and pita for a terrific no-cook snack or lunch), but it's _really_ nice to have a good, hot meal for dinner on Saturday. :)

<shrug> There's plenty of period foods that don't require on-site 
cooking. Cheese, bread, sausage, meats cooked and sliced and put in a 
container in the ice chest before the event...
