[Ansteorra] Can someone confirm/deny for me?

I have heard it sung several times and love the song. Each time, it was
slightly different but just as moving. It has been years since I have heard
it sung and didn't know about the request to not write it down.

I personally don't think singing should be relegated to the camp fire or the
bardic competitions. Sing while preparing feast, sing while setting up
camp...you will make other people smile and make the job more pleasant. I
wish I had a better memory for songs and a better voice for singing, but I
truly enjoy singing along with Sir Kenneth, Mistress, Adelaide, and many
others when driving in my car.

One of my favorite SCA memories was at a Bjornsborg event when we were
breaking our camp down. A wonderful lady who's name escapes me at the moment
(I hate that! I can picture her face and it is on the tip of my tongue!) sat
down and sang for us while we broke down camp. I think it was the last event
at the White Water site so it was kind of bittersweet and she made it a
wonderful memory.

Just my random thoughts while I avoid working,
