Yep. It was particularly clueless of the scammer to try to get anything
from folks in the SCA, as there's _SO_ much about the SCA that the real
person could be expected to know that the scammer just can't even have a
glimmer of a clue about. Names, ranks, and awards, e.g., will be a great
discriminator. 

Society and kingdom-specific practices and customs also will be great
discriminators. There's so much of this stuff that has to osmose in, and
can't be learned quickly, no matter how fast a study you are.
