[Ansteorra] Saracen Head Soccer?

We used a cosmotology head. It's a hard foam, covered in latex (with a full head of long red hair). I'm thinking of replacing the innards with a softer foam but I don't want it to be too light. 
We were making up the rules as we went along, but the basics are kicking only, no carrying it and no using the weapons to hit the "ball".
 I think a nice alternative to this would be to play with axes and allow the players to bounce the head on the axe while running (like dribbling) and use the axes to swat the head during play. I'm sure Corwin & the Rhoadd crew could master the technique in a few minutes.
