Greetings from Isabella of Bryn Gwlad,

I wish to share a new class from Sara Penrose. She  has offered to teach 
an second scribe class
"Laying Out an Original Scroll: 
This class will include historical background about the different types 
of layout used for different kinds of documents in the SCA time-period, 
as well as practical information for laying out a document to be used as 
a prize or award scroll in an SCA context. Skill level: Beginner. Class 
limit: None. Class fee: None.

Update Information
Beginning Calligraphy: Countess Sara Penrose, Instructor
This class will include a brief overview of the different types of hands 
used historically, a discussion of the basic tools and techniques of 
calligraphy, and some hands-on practice. Some loaner pens will be 
available, but class participants should bring their owns pens if they 
have them (cartridge or dip pens are fine; no felt-tip markers or 
quills, please).  Skill level: Beginner. Class limit: 10. Class fee: None.

Classes begin at 10 AM and continue till 4 pm
