I would indeed hope so. CLS classes go a lot deeper into advanced first aid than my CPR and BLS classes do. If I were injured on a primitive site an hour from EMS, I'd rather have a CLS trained first aid providor any day...

my certs for first red cross aid/cpr are expired.   i am getting my
combat lifesaver certificate this weekend.   will that be valid for
certification as a chiurgeon.
