Is reminded some do not get her humor. The point I was trying to make is the same that Arthur made. Yes I know how the process was done, but no I dont intend to do it.

greetings

i know its not common any more , but common sense should apply ,
a lot of people don't like to process wild game themselves anymore , but you still have to process it , weather at home , or at the place you pay to do it for you.

the main difference is the " knowledge " of how to do something .
a lot of things done in period are now illegal in many places around the world, and especialy here in the bible belt .
( you want to try explaining a large tub of  aging urine on your patio to your neighbors , or worse d.h.s. / child wellfare ????  )

i think it would be more than sufficient to just document how nobility was poisoned , ( and not go to jail. )
instead of documenting it and actually doing it to prove i could do it the same way with the same poison used in period .

but hey , if there are people that suffer from cranial anal inversions , and enjoy such things as saving tubs of urine ( and throwing a party to dance in it ),
and spreading their fecal matter in the garden, thats fine let them enjoy them selves .
but maybe , on days they were suffering from c.a.i. , they could let others do the judging  ??

if you know and document what was done , and how it was done , why are you being punished for not being crazy ???
kind of hard to get your laurel ,  while wearing those clean white coats with the extra long sleeves  , or those snazzy bright orange jumpsuits  ; )

just my thoughts on the sometimes insane " judging criteria " ive witnessed over the years .

Be Safe , Be Happy, Have Fun
Arthur

It might not be appealing to our modern sensibilities but that is one
level of authenticity that some folks are willing to experience as part
of their enjoyment of a living history organization like the SCA.

Ok Wow!

Seriously? Who walks wool these days? The idea of saving a bucket of
urine so that it can turn into ammonia and therefore set the dyes added
to the wool while the women of the group sit around stomping on it and
walking on it as a social/work gathering does not seem appealing. I
understand some people are crazy though, so perhaps a small confined
room with aged urine might sound infinitely appealing to them.
