I have not followed all of this but I will say after a particularly cold GW I decided I would never be that cold again.  I now have a tent with a stove and always stay toasty warm.

Whimpers... I keep watching the news and it keeps snowing in Mississippi. 
It needs to stop NOW! Yes I'm from the South and it isn't suppose to snow 
down here or in any state I'm going to visit.
