For the underdress and veil, I would check for fabric content that is at 
least part linen or linen-like cotton. Linen was probably the most frequently 
and wide-spread fabric used in early period, along with wool. For the 
overdress, wool or a cotton with wool-like texture would be your best bet. Staying 
with fibers that are natural (i.e. cotton, wool, linen, ramie [a variety of 
wild cotton], silk) is your best bet for comfort, as well. At least with 
the underdress. Synthetics may look good, and may even breathe, but layered, 
will trap body heat in spring/summer/fall in Ansteorra!
