cotton can bring down the price of your "Linen" and it is still cool. Polyester can also make it less expensive and will keep it from wrinkleing. But Polyester is hot and we try to keep people away from it in Ansteorra because we have had people getting too hot and passing out. 
Keep away from Polyester when making fighting outfits.Blends can work but be careful.
