Others have made valid points against moving inside - safety ones as well as honor. I shall address the date suggestion - 

It's not as simple as changing the date again. Fall Crown Tourney 2006, I watched as Count Gunther yielded to Sir Romanius because he was suffering from the heat. Time of year doesn't matter much in Ansteorra.
