Dance!..then history and bards... and a fun  night camping with a new friend, I was almost hooked.  Three years later I returned with my daughter and a better perspective of the SCA as FUN and anachronistic (yes, this was an important factor to me).  After that, I was hooked and don't think I will ever leave this beloved society in which I and my daughter have been able to grow, learn, and play together.
