Frankly, Sir Deitrich, I take personal offense to your comment regarding Duke Gunthar being "too Eeyore".  You may contact me personally offline to discuss this.

You sir, and I use that term VERY loosely, have gone TOO FAR.

Countess Elizabeth Seale

Duke Ulsted the Unsteady for Duchess Ebergardis von Zell Needs more rank
like Atlantians need more armor but will take it if the "wrong people" get
close.  Don't stand in front of him, lads! 3 to 1  Duke Aaron MacGregor for
Ldy Olivia de Calais This angry little Scottish Duke would like some leaves
for his child bride but it's a tough field this time around. 4 to 1  Duke
Gunthar Jonsson for Countess Elizabeth Seale Rumor has it he'll bow out to
the right opponent.  Feeling a bit too "Eeyore" lately to take it home. 5 to
1  Earl Daffydd Whitaker for Countess Octavia de Verdun Old and broken bones
still get the job done.  Shield broke last week so we may see him fight
sword and nose. 7 to 1  Count Romanius Scipio Vesperanius for Countess
Deanna della Penna Fights like a Spartan; looks like a Martian.  Fittest man
in the list and will be sure to make cardio a factor in all his fights. 2 to
1  Jarl Hrafn Olafsson for Countess Elizabeta di Valore della Rosa Fantastic
physical condition.  We'll see him in the quarter finals using his ladies
chest to distract the unwary. 5 to 1  Count Owen ap Aeddan for Countess
Genevria de Betto de Adriano The big man isn't quite as big this time around
but is it enough to make up for 6 months of "interesting choices"? 6
to 1  Baron
Cassius Domitius Lepus for Baroness Kajira Camber Paid off all marshalls in
last three tourneys.  We predict a repeat performance. 2 to 1  Baron Brom
O'Brien for Baroness Audrey deLeon More power per inch than any fighter in
the tournament.  Dressing like lollipop kid to keep opponents from hitting
him.  Won't work. 15 to 1  Sir Asoph Hearts for Mistress Michelle de
Chantal Recovered
from foot surgery but still dangerous.  Marshalls will check for attack
monkey under his waffendress this time. 20 to 1  Sir Tomás Niállagáin for
Baroness Rixende de Rouen Axe and sword no longer a surprise… he'll need
more than a novelty to get by the top five. 15 to 1  Sir Ulf Arnfinnson for
Lady Rebekka de Corvis Kingdom pulling for Ulf just so his son can be
"prince" sooner. 20 to 1  Sir Daniel de Burdon for Baroness Adelaide de
Bourbon Secret weapon: ducal impersonation syndrome.  But can he fight like
a duke to the finals? 10 to 1  Sir Louis le Blairuea for HL Colleen
O'Kelly Finaled
with Owen and is rumored to have stabbed Our Saviour.  (see Memling
painting) Marshalls will check for artificial "annointing". 7 to 1  Sir
Burke Kyriell MacDonald for Duchess Vanessa de Varonia Lefty… not cornering
like a sports car anymore but still fast on the straightaways. 20 to 1  Sir
William Cameron deBlakstan for Mistress Marguerite Dinard Not a threat…
unless someone calls his wife a tart.  If that happens he goes to 4:1. 12 to
1  Sir Ysfael Bryndu for Centurion Eleanor d'Erisby Winning a lot these days
but is Ansteorra ready for court in coveralls? 5 to 1  Sir Modius von
Mergentheim for Countess Sara Penrose Lobbying Crown to use Hanwei blade
during tournament.  Won't work. 20 to 1  Sir Lochlan Dunn for Lady Gwen
verch Cynwrig de Ynys Mon New Italian fighting doublet designed to be short
enough to distract gay opponents and disturb straight opponents.  Will work. 2
to 1  Sir Angus MacKnochard for HL Ciana Ohara New "Heat Miser" field kit
will defeat any opponent dressed like Chris Cringle. 20 to 1  Sir Kenneth
MacQuarrie of Tobermory for Mistress Adelaide deBeaumont Rumored to be
fighting sword and filk… odds go up if his lady is allowed to sing at
opponents with him. 25 to 1  Centurion Damon Xanthus for Lady Megan Flower
del Wall Fighting with dismembered robot limbs. 30 to 1  Centurion Angus
Gunn Lady Elodie De Cormier Can you win with a chicken on? 30 to 1  Centurion
Alejandro Ramirez Mendoza for HL Amalia Zavattini Tallest man in the
list.  Looking
for a six-fingered man.   Rumored to be using a 48" sword… will actually be
in Steppes for the tournament. 25 to 1  Centurion Thorvald Egilsson for Ly
Dervilia O'Shannon Finals of 06 Northkeep Baronial Championships.  Grr. 50
to 1  Centurion Cathal Finn O'Briain for HL Genevieve de Lironcourt New
drape on helmet.  Has trained with some of the best… who knows? 20 to
1  Centurion
Morgan Blackdragon for Ldy Montega Blackdragon Expert in all sorts of
not-sword-and-shield weapon styles.  Very good.  People with shields won't
care. 40 to 1  HL Aldric de Kerr for Lady Meadhbh ingheanRois Kit from
famous "SCA period".  Will need more than a shiney helm and a big axe to win
this baby. 50 to 1  HL Marc-Antoine de Larue for Baroness Bianca della
Vittoria Mini MacKnochard Me.  Ability to publish own fighting record on the
web skews odds in his favor. 25 to 1  Lord Alexander Marcellus for Lady
Alicia Blackdragon Large wager from An Tir skews odds drastically. 3 to 1  Lord
Lucas mor mac Raghnaill for Lady Adelheid Lilje Rumored to be clearing the
list for Owen.  Some rumors are less reliable than others. 50 to 1  Lord
Randel Lee Smith for Lady Castellana Donea Rumor has it he's trained with
Ulsted.  Predicted to go as far as quarter finals as the Very Dark Horse. 20
to 1  Lord Cionadh O Hosey for Baroness Honour du Bois Leg issues combined
with a "robust profile" don't bode well for Crown chances. 50 to 1  Lord
Wolf Derganger for HL Rhiannon o'Goed Niwlog This workaday lefty from Bryn
Gwlad is as good as he's ever been.  Round two. 30 to 1  Lord Ochoa Ramirez
de Orozco for Lady Adeleide Dewey "Ramirez" name strikes fear into hearts of
opponents who saw Highlander.  Unfortunately, nobody in this tourney is that
old. 50 to 1  Lord Sarran the Traveler for Lady Augustina Elizabetta da San
Germano Sarran is a mystery… wrapped in an enigma.  Sarran wrapped in an
enigma. 50 to 1  Lord Ludewicus von Lichenstein for HL Danielle de
Marseilles Fresh from win in Knight's Tale… don't count him out. 50 to 1
