[Ansteorra] Story from Crown Tourney

Heat exhaustion is caused by lots of factors working together: not only the
heat and humidity, but also the level of exertion (which is understandably
high when you're fighting in a Crown tournament but is also compounded by
clothing and armor worn), level of hydration, ventilation (affecting not
only oxygen intake but also perspiration), health and age of the person
involved, It's physically possible to suffer heat exhaustion in mid-winter,
but fortunately unlikely. The best advice I can give is to be realistic and
be prepared, drink lots of fluids and take lots of breaks out of the
heat...and don't think it could never happen to you (that's usually a
surefire guarantee that it WILL happen to you).

I can only imagine what a licensed chirurgeoun would say....probably "listen
to the chirurgeons and waterbearers!".

and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
